When teeth are missing, damaged, worn, or no longer functioning comfortably, treatment may involve more than a single procedure. As a board-certified prosthodontist, Dr. Lisa Kane has advanced training in rebuilding smiles, restoring proper function, and managing complex restorative cases.
Every treatment plan begins with a comprehensive examination. Dr. Kane will evaluate your teeth, bite, existing restorations, and overall oral health before recommending a personalized path forward.
Comprehensive Prosthodontic and Restorative Services
Dental implant restorations
While Dr. Kane does not surgically place dental implants, she designs and restores the teeth or prostheses that attach to implants after placement and healing. If implant placement is necessary, Dr. Kane and Dr. Papp can collaborate to coordinate the surgical and restorative phases of care. Her implant-restoration services include:
• Single-tooth implant restorations
• Fixed implant bridges
• Removable implant-supported dentures
• Upper or lower dentures supported by four implants and a bar
• Lower dentures supported by three implants and a bar
• Lower overdentures supported by two implants with Zest LOCATOR attachments
• Fixed full-arch zirconia restorations
Exams, Fees, and Insurance
Appointments with Dr. Kane begin with a comprehensive examination rather than a free consultation. New patients will generally receive a comprehensive exam and appropriate diagnostic imaging, such as a full-mouth series of X-rays or panoramic X-ray. Applicable fees will be billed.
Dr. Kane’s services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. Payment is due to the practice at the time specified in the treatment agreement. As a courtesy, Great Lakes Periodontics will submit insurance claims on your behalf. Any reimbursement provided by the insurance company will generally be sent directly to you.
If you also require treatment from Dr. Papp and we participate with your insurance plan, available benefits may be applied to eligible treatment provided by Dr. Papp. Insurance benefits vary, and coverage is not guaranteed.
